When lit, wood wicks pop and crackle softly similar to a fireplace. It creates a warm glow and truly elevates the ambience.

Don’t worry! Smoke and soot are a natural part of the candle burning process. To keep the soot to its minimum, simply trim the burned edges of the wick or to ⅛ inch before each burn. An untrimmed wick will lead to issues with your candles (including a large flame and high amounts of soot).

Candle care and safety is SUPER important. See the Candle Care guide to ensure a safe burning candle.

The gap is called a “wet spot” and is normal for soy waxes. The science behind wet spots is that wax expands when it heats up and shrinks when it cools. The gap could be noticeable if your environment is cold, but it won’t affect the burn of your candle :)

Our candles are made of renewable coconut soy wax, FSC certified wood wicks, and toxin-free fragrance oils. Our boxes are made up of recyclable content and our packing peanuts are biodegradable. Once your candle is used up, heat the leftover wax by pouring hot water, scoop out the wax, and wash the jar with soap and warm water. Now you can use your jar as a container or décor to elevate your spaces!
